Anyone who knows me, understands that sometimes in the middle of (literally) any activity outdoors I will stop to look at a plant. I am curious by nature and I can’t help but stop for a beautiful or particularly puzzling plant.

This sketch was inspired by a conversation with a fellow geologist. We were chatting about the differences in the study of rocks (geology) and plants (botany). I realized that botany is really the study of the plant’s sex organs. We sit down with magnifying glasses and stare at their junk. Thus, the sketch above.
